James Bernie

James specialises in finance, company secretarial and legal recruitment in the fund administration, private equity, real estate and hedge fund spaces, principally in Luxembourg and he has completed mandates up to board-level in these areas.

James previously lived in Luxembourg and worked for a locally-based boutique recruitment firm where he helped establish the asset management practice.

Prior to this he worked on front office corporate finance hires at Badenoch & Clark in the City of London where his clients included JP Morgan and NM Rothschild.

James has a BA in English Language and Literature from Nottingham University and speaks fluent French.
